It’s that time of year again for Chicagoans to bundle up! If you work near the Loop, Aon Center, O’Hare International Airport, Chase Tower, City Hall, or Merchandise Mart, here are some luxury apartments that will allow you to commute without going outside!
Property 111- The Loop
Get to these locations without going outside:
These Loop luxury apartments have direct, secured access to the CTA red and blue line trains from inside the building.
One of the greatest perks of living along the blue line is direct access to O’Hare International Airport! That’s right– if you live at property 111, you could get from your apartment to anywhere in the world without going outside! Who wouldn’t want that convenience on a blustery winter day?
Property 111 also provides direct access to Chicago City Hall without going outside.
The blue line also runs through Chicago’s Western neighborhoods including Bucktown, Wicker Park, UIC campus, River West, West Loop, and Logan Square. The red line goes South past Columbia College and Museum Campus, around the Loop, and North through River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and along the lake past Loyola and DePaul Universities. If you work near any of these locations and are looking to cut your commute time, the luxury apartments at property 111 could be right for you!
Rentals at property 111 start around $1900Â and include washer and dryer in unit.
Property 2- Lakeshore East
Get to these locations without going outside:
Luxury apartments at Lakeshore East property 2 offer residents direct access to the Chicago Pedway system.
The Chicago Pedway is a system of underground tunnels linking more than 40 blocks of downtown Chicago, covering a total of five miles. The Pedway connects public and private buildings, CTA and metro stations, and is lined with convenient shops and restaurants along the way. Pedway users liken the feeling inside the Pedway more to an airport terminal than a tunnel.
Rentals at property 2 start around $1795 and include washer and dryer in unit.
Property 34- Lakeshore East (*Value Building*)
Get to these locations without going outside:
Property 34 is connected to the same part of the Pedway system as property 2 and could be a strong alternative if your price range is more price sensitive. Property 34 has its own dry-cleaner on site and offers stunning views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, and Navy Pier’s Ferris wheel and fireworks!
Rentals at property 34 start around $1695 and offer shared laundry.
Property 138- River North (Merchandise Mart)
Get to these locations with <1 block outside:
Okay, this one is a bit of a stretch. You will have to go outside, but not far!
River North property 138 is connected to the RX Bar building as well as several popular spots in its retail space including Joe & The Juice juice bar and coffee spot, and Brown Bag Seafood Co, a casual seafood restaurant with reasonable prices. Property 138 is under a block from Merchandise Mart and the brown line train. The brown line CTA also provides access around the Loop and North through Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and past DePaul and Northeastern Universities.
