The Alfred New Luxury Apartments in the Loop

A cozy bedroom with a bed, white sofa, glass coffee table, and two framed pictures on the wall. Rugs cover the wooden floor, and a window provides natural light.

Historic charm and chic modern style converge at The Alfred, one of the newest luxury apartment buildings in the Loop. It was originally built in 1924 and known as the Hartman Building prior to its conversion into 176 rentals.

The high-rise features studio, junior 1 bed, 1 bed, and 2 bed apartments. Each apartment comes equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer, vaulted ceilings, and spa-inspired showers.

Each kitchen features subway tile backsplash, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and open shelving.

Although each interior is newly renovated, the building has retained its charm. Units on the third floor feature historic Chicago-style windows and the original hardwood floors with herringbone pattern and inlays. All other apartments feature poured concrete flooring.

The Alfred also features a spacious rooftop lounge and terrace, the design of which was inspired by local artists and architects. Heritage Outpost coffee shop is on-site, with convenient access for residents at The Alfred.
