The name Kanela (which means “cinnamon” in Greek) is apropos for this restaurant, which serves up brunch favorites with a Greek twist. Everything on Kanela’s menu is made from scratch with local and organic ingredients wherever possible. Menu favorites include chia seed pudding, loukoumades (Greek donuts), red velvet French toast, the California Benedict (made with avocado mash and vegetarian bacon), and the impossible burger.

Their eclectic menu also includes dinner entrees like steak, pasta, salads, stir fry dishes, and innovative sandwiches like their salmon pita.

In addition to being a beloved and cost friendly neighborhood place to meet for brunch or a coffee meeting, Hashbrowns Cafe is known for pioneering sweet potato hashbrowns.
