Cassidy on Canal, one of the newest luxury apartment buildings coming to the Fulton River District, just broke ground and is being developed by The Habitat Company and Diversified Real Estate Capital. The Fulton River District is the stretch that borders the Loop, Fulton Market, and River North (near East Bank Club) and has become an extremely popular area among renters because of the ease of access it provides to all three neighborhoods.
Upon completion, Cassidy on Canal will be 33 stories with a total of 343 units along with ground-level retail and 123 parking spaces. The tower will sit at the site of the former Cassidy Tire building at 344 N. Canal.
Cassidy on Canal will offer studio, one bed, and two bedroom floor plans, along with both indoor and outdoor amenity spaces including a state of the art fitness center and spa, a pool deck, media and gaming rooms, a conference center, resident co-working space, door staff, and pet amenities.
Much is still unknown about the specifics of the units at Cassidy, but if the rest of Habitat’s portfolio is any indicator, we can expect top interior finishes and thoughtful floor plans. Renderings also show that most units will also have balconies. Completion is targeted for early 2024.
